We are a community badminton club in south Birmingham UK that supports the development of playing skills at all levels and promotes exercise and well being in the local community. We have been playing badminton in Birmingham and Worcestershire for 30 years.
Playing Badminton for over 30 years
Originally the Dolphin Badminton Club, playing at the Dolphin centre in Bromsgrove. After a change of venue in 2002 to Colmers Farm School we changed our name to XDC, which stands for the Ex Dolphin Centre. After playing at Turves Green School from 2012 to 2021, we’re now based at Waseley Hills High School in Rubery, Birmingham.
Playing with Feather Shuttles
Although more expensive and less durable than plastic shuttles, the club has long decided that playing with feather shuttles reflects our commitment to a quality player experience and more competitive matches.
