To apply for membership to XDC Badminton Club, please:

• Complete the Membership form online below
• Send your membership fees electronically to XDC via direct bank transfer (details below).

Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Fee

Membership of the club is renewable each year. The cost of running the club is calculated on an annual basis based on expected costs of hall hire charges, shuttle usage etc. The XDC Committee review the fee at least annually and any new fee structure will be voted upon at the AGM. The XDC Committee may have to review and recommend amendments to fees at any time during the year as necessary. The total cost of membership (which includes affiliation – see below) must be paid in one instalment and is due by 1st September of the membership year.

2. Affiliation

XDC exists to promote both competitive and social badminton. The club must affiliate to both the Worcestershire Badminton Association (WBA) and Badminton England (BE). All club members must be registered by the end of September each year. By registering you qualify for the BE benefits package, including insurance. The cost of registration is determined by the governing bodies and NOT by XDC. Non-match playing guests can play at the club, at the discretion of the XDC Committee, without the need to be affiliated but are NOT eligible to play matches unless they join the club and are affiliated. The XDC membership fee includes both the individual and club affiliation charges. If you are already affiliated to BE through another club please inform the Treasurer as there will be a reduced rate.

3. Guests

There will be a limit of a maximum of 4 weeks (non-consecutive) applied to guests. Guests may apply to join as full members subject to acceptance by the XDC Committee.

4. Constitution

All Members must abide by the club constitution.
