Committee Changes following AGM
The recent AGM saw the long standing Chairman and Secretary, Steve & Katy Harris, standing down from their XDC committee roles moving forward.
Steve stated that it had been a pleasure to be Chairman for the last 5 years but injuries mean that he is no longer able to play competitively and therefore feels it’s time to hand over the reigns. The great news is that John Ho has stepped up and agreed to take on the Chairman’s duties. John is busy volunteering at the 2022 Commonwealth Games currently so truly supports our community in a variety of ways. Thanks John !!
Katy also announced her decision to stand down as the club secretary at the last AGM a year ago and continued in role till a replacement could be found. Unfortunately no one has volunteered to help with this so for now the secretaries activities are split amongst the committee till a new secretary can be found.
The committee thanked Steve and Katy for all their support during the decades they have been club members and hoped that with some good recovery there is a chance to see them back at XDC from time to time.
There are still vacancies for the committee roles that include:
- Club Secretary
- Website Administrator
- Men’s 2 Captain
- Veterans Captain
